Join the Center for Asia Pacific Studies and David Chih-Hsiang Wu, Director General, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in San Francisco, for a flavorful exploration of Taiwan through the lens of food. Discover how Taiwan’s diverse history, cultures, and development have shaped its culinary traditions, and how food has become an important expression of Taiwan’s identity and an increasingly meaningful tool of cultural diplomacy and soft power.

This event is co-sponsored by the Department of Anthropology.
