USF at Shakespeare in the Park 2026

Join USF alumni and the Peninsula Silicon Valley Regional Alumni chapter for a special evening in Redwood City for a free performance of Shakespeare’s Anthony and Cleopatra, brought to us by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. Connect with fellow alumni, families, and friends before the show for a pre-event mixer, with light bites and drinks provided. All are welcome to bring chairs and blankets to watch the performance from the grassy park.
About the Show
Antony and Cleopatra is a Shakespearean tragedy about the passionate, doomed love affair between Roman general Mark Antony and Cleopatra, Queen of Egypt, set against the backdrop of Roman politics and civil war.
The play explores the conflict between duty and desire, as Antony is torn between his political responsibilities in Rome and his all-consuming love for Cleopatra, ultimately leading to their downfall at the hands of his rival, Octavius Caesar.
