USF welcomes four-time NBA champion, two-time MVP, Stephen Curry to the Silk Speaker Series stage.
Golden State Warriors All-Star returns to the Hilltop on Sunday, Aug. 30, for an exclusive screening and panel conversation to discuss the documentary he co-directed, “The Baddest Speechwriter of All,” streaming on Netflix later this year.
Premiering at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year, the 29-minute film won the Short Film Grand Jury Prize and shines a spotlight on the life and work of Clarence B. Jones, a lawyer, strategic adviser, speechwriter, and close friend of Martin Luther King Jr.
Joining Stephen Curry on the Silk Speaker Series stage will be two-time Oscar winner Ben Proudfoot, who co-directed the film alongside Curry, and Erick Peyton, executive producer and CEO of Unanimous Media.
Experience an unforgettable conversation with Stephen Curry exploring social justice, civil rights, and the enduring impact of those who changed the course of history.
